PCG: PCG Commandant Admiral Rodolfo D Isorena graced the oath taking ceremony of the seventy-nine (79) new Candidate Coast Guard Officers (CCGO) held at the Headquarters Philippine Coast Guard Shaded Area in Manila this morning, 11 August 2015.

During his speech, Admiral Isorena challenged the new recruits to make the most out of their training and to stay focused on their goal. He likewise encouraged each CCGO to be prepared in becoming a true coast guard officer in every sense of the word.

The activity is in line with the PCG’s program to recruit one hundred ninety four (194) officers and one thousand fifty (1050) non-officers for CY 2015. The 36 female and 43 male recruits wherein 17 are from the ranks, will be hurdling a six months to one year rigid training in Bagac, Bataan.
