PCG:  Coast Guard personnel in Palawan and Kilos Agad Action Center (KAAC) Rescue Team rendered assistance to eight persons who were hurt when their vehicle fell off a cliff at Sitio Sto. Niño, Barangay Aborlan, Palawan on 30 April. 

Petty Officer Third Class Anthony O Dalingding PCG, Seaman First Ramer E Dusong PCG and Apprentice Seaman Lucito G Rodriguez PCG were on their way to Coast Guard District Palawan Headquarters when they spotted the accident and immediately responded. 

The injured persons were transported to Ospital ng Palawan onboard PCG vehicle and KAAC ambulance. Meanwhile, Coast Guard Medical Service personnel proceeded to the hospital to render medical assistance. 

According to the driver of the vehicle (Hyundai accent), they were heading to Sitio Sto. Niño, Barangay Aborlan when he experienced steering problem. Mr. Leo E Ciriaco, who was under the influence of liquor and was sitting next to him suddenly, grabbed the steering wheel causing the car to swerve uncontrollably and fell off the cliff. 

The injured persons were under medical observation and were subjected for x-ray at the said hospital.
