Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) Commandant, CG Admiral Artemio M Abu, led the OATH-TAKING CEREMONY OF THE 50 NEWLY APPOINTED COAST GUARD DRAFTEES at the National Headquarters, Port Area, Manila today, 04 August 2022.

CG Admiral Abu congratulated the 38 male and 12 female Coast Guard draftees for passing the selection process. He also reminded them to give their best in accomplishing every task because it will affect their personal growth, career development, and the entire organization.

"Beginning today, you are now considered government property. Whatever you do or fail to do will impact the organization," the Coast Guard Commandant expressed.

"You have been given a chance. You are lucky to be chosen, but it comes with a corresponding responsibility," he furthered.

The Coast Guard draftees will commence training to become official PCG enlisted personnel this fourth quarter of 2022.
