Sa pakikiisa ng PCG Auxiliary (PCGA), Chinese General Hospital, Filipino Chinese Chamber of Commerce Inc., at Malvar LGU, matagumpay na naisagawa ang libreng medical consultation at dental service sa mga benepisyaryo.

The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) Station MalacaΓ±ang organized a clean-up drive in the vicinity waters of Estero De Sunog Apog, Barangay 135, Balut, Tondo, Manila, on 01 October 2022.

Together with the Pasig River Coordinating and Management Office (PRCMO) and other government agencies, the PCG collected approximately 1,500 sacks of solid waste during the said marine environmental protection initiative.

The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) District Palawan installed one Very High Frequency (VHF) radio at the Tubbataha Reefs Natural Park in Palawan on 20 September 2022.

The PCG Weapons, Communications, Electronics, and Information System Command (CGWCEISC) also installed one Icom M506 radio in coordination with the Tubbataha Management Office.

According to the PCG District Palawan, these radios expand the coverage of VHF Channel 16 in communicating with arriving and transiting vessels; conducting radio challenges during illegal entries of watercraft, enhancing maritime domain awareness through the built-in Automatic Identification System (AIS); and responding to emergencies through the Digital Selective Calling (DSC) feature.

The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) District Bicol assisted six Indonesian crew members of cargo vessel, M/V Sky Fortune that ran aground in the vicinity waters off Malinao (Tabaco Bay) on 19 January 2022.

They were turned over to the Indonesian Embassy today, 28 September 2022.

Through the collaborative efforts PCG, BI, OWWA, BOC, BOQ, DOH, NBI, PNP, Tabaco City Prosecutors' Office, LGU-Tabaco and the provincial government of Albay, coordinating meeting was set with the officials of the Indonesian Embassy to expedite their repatriation.

The men and women of the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) express their condolences to the bereaved loved ones of CG Lieutenant Junior Grade (LTJG) Rando Val Siega who was killed in a shooting incident at Barangay Banaba Cerca, Indang, Cavite at around 11:30 a.m. on 26 September 2022.

Based on Indang Municipal Police Station's investigation, CG LTJG Siega was at his father-in-law's house when the suspect, Mr. Jerry Creus, shot him several times.

He was brought to the nearest hospital where the attending physician declared him "dead on arrival."
